Junior Programme (7 – 12 years old)

Senior Programme (13 – 18 years old)

Our Senior Programme fuels their burgeoning need for independence, experience, and socialisation.

Fostering Independence

At MINDS, learning comes alive where we bring together a combination of classroom and practical training to foster independence. Our students embark on an exhilarating career adventure where they commit to a lifelong pursuit of personal development.

Achieving Vocational Success

Designed to equip individuals with a range of vocational skills critical for successful employment, our vocational curriculum provides a combination of work attachments, learning journeys, and internships. Students discover their passions and talents trying their hands at different sectors and industries.

Providing Tailored On-the-job Training and Mentorship

MINDS boasts a team of experienced job coaches to match students’ aspirations and aptitude to suitable work attachments that provide them with the relevant industry experience. Through close observation and discussions with Allied Health Professionals, teachers, and industry partners, the students are given specialised on-the-job training and mentorship specific to industry needs.

School-based Attachments

Students are attached within school to acquire vocational skills with professional guidance and supervision as they embark on their journey in being work-ready.

Immersive Learning Journeys

Through learning journeys, MINDS ignites students’ interests and talents in various professions where they learn about the different jobs and careers available.

Attaining Recognised Qualifications and Certifications

Students undergo a series of tests and training to attain recognised certification and qualifications in relevant skills and competencies to enhance their employability.

Industry-based Attachments / Internships

With strong support from industry partners, our work-ready students are given opportunities to learn in a real work environment, providing a smoother transition into the workplace after their graduation.

School-2-Work Programme

A programme which aims to bridge students’ transition from formal education to the workplace, the School-2-Work (S2W) programme is a multi-agency collaboration with Ministry of Education, SG Enable, and the Ministry of Social and Family development to provide supported employment for up to a year.

Curriculum

At MINDS, we believe that learning begins with the individual. Employing a learner-centered approach, MINDS’s unique curriculum is tailored to suit the varying learning needs of children aged 7 – 18 with special needs. Our holistic curriculum is designed to nurture their sense of inquiry, ignite innate talent and creativity and impart a lifetime of essential skills and knowledge.
